Original painting by Takato Yamamoto "Broken Nest Box". Originally printed in the "Rib of a Hermaphrodite" book. Mostly peach, gray, and black tones, a seemingly disassembled woman is pictured amongst wood, stone, and tile wreckage. Her lovely face with long black hair, an exposed bone and breast, torso, buttocks, and vulva, all tied together with rope.

Measures approximately 210x300mm. Painted in 2007.

山本タカト - こわれた巣箱

Original painting by Takato Yamamoto "Mirror Game". Originally printed in the "Coffin of a Chimera" book. A traditional handmade Japanese mirror reflects a figure wearing a kimono, partially hidden by a sliding door. A leafy tendril stretches from the mirror to a small gray bird in the foreground (just right of center). There are two ovoid shapes on the right - possibly clam shells - one contains hiragana text and the other contains a partial skeleton.

Measures approximately 272x196mm. Painted in 2010.

A pair of postcards featuring Takato Yamamoto's painting "Princess Shirayuki at Yashagaike (Demon Pond) II" and the corresponding under drawing. Both were originally created in 2013.

Each card measures 3.875" x 5.75" (9.9 x 14.7cm) and is printed on heavy cardstock.

Newly released book of underdrawings from Takato Yamamoto's debut book (20 years ago!) "Scarlet Maniera" includes 16 essays and works. Printed on cream colored paper with blue or red ink. You can photocopy pages and color them in like a reusable coloring book!

山本タカト　緋色のマニエラ下絵帖

Set of postcards from Takato Yamamoto's book Allure of Pharmakon is a little book with 8 postcards in it. They are perforated along the shorter edge so that you can tear them out of the book if you'd like. And there's a black OR red tassel hanging from the lower left corner of the book. The book measures approximately 6.5" x 4" but the postcards are very slightly smaller at 4" x 6".

Painting of Bathing 水伐図 - a young girl ankle deep in water, wringing out the hem of her dress, with a severed head peeking out from the rocks on the left.

Bright Moon Night 月のさやけき夜 - two androgynous people sitting under a full moon in a rocky area, with empty cups of blood, blood spatters, and a severed hand.

Original painting by Takato Yamamoto "Moon – Drunken by moonlight, melancholic, sinking into the bottom of a mirror, a honey-colored poisonous insect". Originally printed in the "Coffin of a Chimera" book. The head of a girl with long black hair is being overtaken by a sinewy being with one large eyeball, exposed rib bones, and several small rows of teeth. A large full moon looks on in the dark of night.

Measures approximately 200mm in diameter. Painted in 2010.

Art book by Takato Yamamoto explores the visceral transformations from human to beast. Undulating pieces of flesh and arteries mix with flowers, skulls, body parts, and pieces of human. SIGNED and NUMBERED inside the front cover. Only 500 pieces of the limited edtion were printed. Please see the regular edition of Coffin of Chimera for additional photos.

山本タカト キマイラの柩

Original painting by Takato Yamamoto titled "The Pillow Battle at Dannoura". Previously unpublished. Monochrome painting features two couples partially wearing traditional Japanese clothing. The kimonos have fallen off of the woman as they enjoy each other's flesh.

Measures approximately 198x270mm. Painted in 2005.

Clear plastic file featuring the artwork "Night Reverie" by Takato Yamamoto. Originally printed in the book "Divertimento For A Martyr".

Measures approximately 8.675" x 12.25" (21.8 x 31cm) and will fit standard A4 sheets perfectly! It is a little translucent - photos are shown with a plain white piece of paper inside.
