Special, limited edition of Takato Yamamoto's collection of artwork is styled after the highly collectable "Kyoka-bon" books of first edition Kyoka Izumi novels. Limited to 500 pieces, special edition includes a purple slipcover, melon colored page edges, incense, one postcard, and six ribbon bookmarks attached at the binding. Actual book is a two part book - a Japanese text novel by Kyoka Izumi which is illustrated with 29 black and white works (underdrawings) by Takato Yamamoto plus 28 full color images of new paintings. Selected originals available by inquiry.
Book is SIGNED and numbered inside the front cover (number 251/500). Regular version is available.
Condition: very lightly used and almost perfect. Bottom right corner (front side) of slipcase has a slight indentation.
