Toshio Saeki Akai Hako

Softcover book is filled with full page prints of Toshio Saeki's odd and disturbing eroguro images. The printing and binding process for this book is unique - instead of single pages printed front and back and bound into a book a single wide format page has been printed with a full image, folded in half and then bound into the book. Full images start on right page, turn the page and the image is completed. Very unusual effect with beautiful results. Some works stretch across four pages!

Book images here show first and second pages side by side. It is possible to break the binding and remove pages, unfold, and have 10"x17"(+/-) prints. Paper is very soft texture with matte finish - not like shiny smooth magazine paper but more of a handmade feel.

USA Condition: Book is in very good condition with a few small irregularities to the edges. Red obi has some marks along the edges. Cover has some red marks on the edges from the obi sliding up and down. Interior is clean and near new. Unsigned copy.
