Loosely translated as "Eve's Rib", Tari Nakagawa's new book collects beautiful photographs of disconsolate dolls. Many feature closed eyes, exposed ribs, and flesh which has seemingly melted away from the still living forms. Each ball jointed doll is an excellent example of Gothic influence in doll making.
Book is unique with exposed elements of binding along the spine. Includes a list of all dolls in the book and exhibition list. Text is Japanese. SIGNED inside the front cover with gold ink.
