This is a guide book to "dangerous" photography books. Kotaro Iizawa has collected photos and descriptions of 246 photography books with subject matter leaning towards the risky - nudity, porn, death, the grotesque, dysmorphias, tattoos, bondage, madness, old fashioned erotica, etc.
Most are a photo of the front cover, a description in Japanese and one or two thumbnails of inside pages. There are also some full page articles and photographs. Most notably a 15 page spread on Slawomir Rumiak's book "The Love Book: The Best of My Dreams" with full page black and white photos.
Some of the artist's books included: John Willie, Henri Maccheroni, Dahmane, Stanley B. Burns, Pierre Molinier, Robert Mapplethorpe, Sylvia Wolf, Hans Bellmer, Helmut Newton, Erwin Olaf, Romain Slocombe, Ichiro Ono, Nobuyoshi Araki, and a ton more.
