XL size glossy A4 magazine showcases Japanese artists and recent exhibitions. File 29's theme is "Seeing / Different Perspectives of Sight" 「見る／見えることの異相」 and explores what it means to be seen and to be visible, along with excessive, absent, or paranormal eyes. Magazine is 95% full color photographs. Text is 100% Japanese.

Yoshitoshi Kanemaki is on the front cover with an additional 11 pages of photos of his incredible wooden sculptures. Yoichi Nebashi 10 pages of monochrome and brightly colored artworks from an exhibition at Jiro Miura Gallery. Makiko Sugawa has 12 pages of artworks from her Vanilla Gallery exhibition including some great photos of the special ukiyo-e prints created by Takahashi Kobo.

Additional featured artist are: Ryoki Kurasaki, Haruna Hijikata, Mayuko Yamamura, Shiki Taira, GASHOW, Yuka Yoshida, Ryu Kozai, and Aka Okumura.
