Set of 12 postcards featuring the handcrafted dolls of Tsutomu Kawakami. Using the artisanal dry lacquer technique of kanshitsu employed to create ancient Buddha statues, Kawakami creates haunting sculptures of gaunt young girls who are overshadowed by death.
Each card measures approximately 3.95" x 5.51" (10 x 14.7cm)
