Original painting "Twinstars" was first published in Trevor Brown's Medical Fun books. A pair of conjoined twin girls burst forth from a shower of bright pastel stars. Their eyes are nearly closed but one large, open eye peers out from their shared chest. A small gash on each forehead drips a tiny amount of blood. Each of the palms of their hands also has a tiny bleeding slit.
SIGNED and dated in pencil on lower right corner "Trevor Brown Feb 2000". Airbrush and acrylic on board. Board measures approximately 23.375"x31" (59.4 x 78.6cm). Actual painted area measures approximately 19.75" x 27.25" (50 x 69.5cm).
Condition: this painting was damaged by the post office when it was originally purchased from Trevor Brown. There is a minor vertical bend on the body of the twins. Visible at an angle and pictured in the second to last photo. The lower right corner is slightly bent with a bit of discoloration (last photo).
