Original painting by Takato Yamamoto "Mirror Game". Originally printed in the "Coffin of a Chimera" book. A traditional handmade Japanese mirror reflects a figure wearing a kimono, partially hidden by a sliding door. A leafy tendril stretches from the mirror to a small gray bird in the foreground (just right of center). There are two ovoid shapes on the right - possibly clam shells - one contains hiragana text and the other contains a partial skeleton.

Available as a special collaboration between Takato Yamamoto's agent in Tokyo and AkaTako. Painting is currently in Tokyo, click to inquire about purchasing. Will ship directly from Tokyo to you. FREE shipping worldwide.

Measures approximately 272x196mm. Painted in 2010.
