Original painting by Takato Yamamoto "Mirror Game". Originally printed in the "Coffin of a Chimera" book. A traditional handmade Japanese mirror reflects a figure wearing a kimono, partially hidden by a sliding door. A leafy tendril stretches from the mirror to a small gray bird in the foreground (just right of center). There are two ovoid shapes on the right - possibly clam shells - one contains hiragana text and the other contains a partial skeleton.

Available as a special collaboration between Takato Yamamoto's agent in Tokyo and AkaTako. Painting is currently in Tokyo, click to inquire about purchasing. Will ship directly from Tokyo to you - shipping cost will be around $40-50.

Measures approximately 272x196mm. Painted in 2010.
