Ryoichi Yoshida's delicate and life-like dolls are lovingly photographed by himself in perfectly fitting dresses and kimono as well as in their natural state. This first book of his delicately hand crafted ceramic dolls was later expanded and republished as "Articluated Doll" in 2002. The ball jointed dolls somehow transcend their inflexible composition and appear like real life girls in the bloom of life.
Includes an essay by Ryoichi Yoshida. Text is 100% Japanese.
Condition: very lightly used with minor scuffs to the covers. Very good otherwise with near perfect interior.
