Traditional work apron is made using a TOYOTA shuttle loom that is about 100 years old by a Toyohashi craftsmen of Aichi Prefecture for CREATION Project 2021. Each pattern is made using a technique called "somenuki" (染め抜き) which actually removes the color dye to reveal a white pattern. 100% cotton apron is thick and supple and can be used even after 100 years!
Measures approximately 18.5" x 26.37" (47x67cm) - length includes the waistband and fringe. There is one pocket on the right hand side and a waist tie of about 8.5 feet (260cm). Each apron is handmade and may vary from item to item.
