Yoko Mill Original Through a Waterfall to the Heavens

Yoko Mill's original painting inspired by Utagawa Kuniyoshi's famous ukiyo-e artwork "Oniwaka-maru and Giant Carp". A white-haired girl with elaborate kanzashi hairstyle clings to a giant orange carp in front of swirling blue waves. The undulating whirlpool in the foreground is a silvery acrylic.

Measures approximately 8.67" x 10.75" x .8" (22 x 27.3 x 2cm). Painted in 2021. Oil and acrylic on canvas which is stretched on a wooden panel. SIGNED on the bottom edge of the canvas. Painting is varnished for protection after photographing so it will have a gloss finish. Reverse of painting includes hand written title, year, and artist name.
