Takato Yamamoto is known in Japan for his highly detailed drawings that feature androgynous men/women/boys/girls with a strongly morbid overtone. His characters are usually staring directly into the viewers face while in the midst of strange acts. There's usually a skull or two thrown in for good measure and a decidedly dark and unhappy flavor to his work.
