Gorgeous book celebrating the birth of "medical art" features paintings and photos of women in casts and slings, in hospitals and at the accident scene, and also inspirational items from popular culture. Romain Slocombe dominates the pages with additional artwork by Fred Chalmer, Didier Eberoni, Yoshy Ichimura, Kim Tchoun Kwang, Jena-Baptiste Mondino, Natsuko, Yoichi Nagata, Shigenari Onishi, Kiki Picasso, Loulou Picasso, and Bernard Vidal. Text is 100% French.

Condition: lightly used but quite good considering the age. Color fade along binding and top of front cover. Top left corner has some wrinkles and there is a small vertical crease on front cover (noticeable only at an angle). Most edges show some shelf wear. Binding has loosened a little but pages are secure. One black mark inside front cover (previous owner name blacked out?). Pages are clean with sharp images - no folds or tears.
