XL size book telling the heartbreaking story of a broken doll Meme who was thrown in the trash because she was missing a leg. Her mouse friend Nii searches through the garbage to try to find her a replacement leg so she can climb out of the trash bin. Eventually Nii finds a robot leg that allows Meme to escape and see the sky again.

Illustrations by amputee artist Makiko Sugawa with story by Yoshimaru Takahashi. Both Japanese and English text! Hand SIGNED by Makiko Sugawa on the back cover.
