Instead of imagining cute and angel-like models, Kenichi Murata pictures the angel as an ethereal presence, an 'absolute person', the bystander of death. In his latest book he attempts to recreate the feelings he received while looking at paintings of Greek mythology as an adolescent. The ecstatic maiden chained to a rock, a bright light living on the edge of darkness.
Includes one essay by Kotaro Iizawa, three short texts by Kenichi Murata, profile, and list of models (all text is Japanese only). Models featured: 月乃ルナ (Luna Tsukino), 森之宮遠子, 七菜乃 (Nananano), 蜜マリア (Maria Temari), and あまね飛鳥 (Asuka Amane).
