"R" focuses on erotic nude photos of women and girls taken by Irina Ionesco after 1980. All photos are in full color. Total of 67 photos including her daughter Eva Ionesco as a young girl/teen, other models (most fully nude), and a couple of still life compositions.

Book also includes a bilingual essay (Japanese/English) by Kyoko Jimbo (Historian of Photography).
