Hikari Shimoda Funeral painting

Original painting by Hikari Shimoda is of a young boy with white blond hair holding a pink chrysanthemum. He wears a white dress shirt and has a dark ribbon tied around his head with a bow below his chin. There are two big rabbit ears attached to the ribbon. Behind him, a large goldfish floats through a pale flourescent sky of clouds and drips. SIGNED and dated in lower right corner ("Hikari 2010").

Acrylic painting on Japanese paper, mounted on wood panel. Measures approximately 17.875" x 20.875" x .75" (45.5 x 53 x 2cm).
