Very thorough study of Hans Bellmer's works including psychoanalytic and feminist theory. Well documented with over 100 pages of illustration information, appendices, chronology, bibliography, and index. Contains 120+ illustrations (mostly black and white) and text is 100% English.
Book is separated into three parts (each with three chapters): Fetishism and the First Doll; Sadomasochism, Castration Anxiety, and the Ball-Jointed Doll; Transgression, Pornography, Scoptophilia.
Condition: very good with only minor wear to the edges of the dust jacket. Interior is perfect with very tight binding and clean pages. No shelf wear.
