The original 1983 "Sexy Robot" book where Hajime Sorayama attempted (and succeeded!) to draw chrome robots as sexy women. "The first idea I had for sexy robots was to try to combine robots and eroticism. The problem was where to leave a touch of the human - the lips, the breasts, the hips....And you have to make it look like they are going to move at any time now. That's why they're full of lies."
Book is split into seven sections: Sexy Robots, How to Draw: Sexy Robots, Pin Ups, Animals, The Story of Hajime Sorayama (Japanese text), Pencil Drawings, and an interview in Japanese.
Condition: Light shelf wear on edges. Bottom right corner of entire book is bent upwards (about 1/2"). Binding is good and interior pages are clean. Photos on request.
