Daisho-in is a temple located on the island of Miyajima, a short ferry ride from Hiroshima. Miyajima is known for it's wild deer which tourists enjoy hand-feeding. Jizo is a type of Buddha very popular in Japan because he is supposed to watch out for us in this life as well as children who have lost their lives. As a result, many mothers take care of Jizo by feeding and clothing them in the hopes that the Jizo will care for their lost children. |

| The photo is hand numbered on the front lower right corner in silver ink. Each photo also has an edition label on the reverse of the frame. This is printed on Japanese unryu paper and bordered with Japanese origami paper. The label is hand numbered and signed by the artist. The design of the origami paper WILL vary - please look at some of the other photos in this edition to see examples of the various prints.
