Shin Yakushi-ji is a quiet temple off the tourist beaten path in Nara. I had the privilege of visiting it on a clear sunny day. This particular type of Japanese maple tree has leaves which turn red when they are exposed to the sun. Even though they are bright red it is mid-summer. Shin Yakushi-ji's grounds are beautifully landscaped in maple trees which accent the ancient architecture. |

| The photo is hand numbered on the front lower right corner in silver ink. Each photo also has an edition label on the reverse of the frame. This is printed on Japanese unryu paper and bordered with Japanese origami paper. The label is hand numbered and signed by the artist. The design of the origami paper WILL vary - please look at some of the other photos in this edition to see examples of the various prints.
